DELIVERY OF YOUR HAND MADE CHARTLEY BEDROOM FURNITURE - UK MAINLAND ONLY
Your new Chartley Bedroom furniture is hand made in our Gillingham, Kent, factory. We are able to arrange delivery/assembly directly to your home, using the services of a very experienced, professional and reliable delivery team - who only work delivering for Chartley. The 2 men will come to our factory and collect your items, wrap them carefully in blankets then tie them to the inside of the van. They will arrive in perfect condition, with no damage.
Items such as boys beds, girls beds and wardrobes will need to be assembled on site, as they are too large to be carried up stairs! The ASSEMBLY charge is shown under the price of the item. Please click the assembly button if you require this service. If you do not click on this option, the drivers will be unable to assemble your items. (you can add Assembly at checkout, if you did not select it previously.)
The DELIVERY charge (mileage based) will be calculated from our factory (ME7 3JQ) to your chosen delivery address, and will be added at 'checkout'. Please remember, this is for 2 men to travel with your goods directly to your home, there are no vehicle changes - which means there will be no damage! Upon arrival to your home everything will be put in place, assembled (if chosen) then cleaned, ready for you to use.
If you require any items to be FITTED, such as mirrors, radiator cabinets, coat hooks, bookcases etc. please contact us for further charges.
Should you choose to collect the items, please bring plenty of wrapping, blankets, cardboard etc. as the goods are not in boxes! You will need to ensure they are fully protected inside your vehicle. Should they become damaged during transit please call us for a quote to repair.
If you wish to use the services of a courier, BEWARE! We have found, from experience that large, heavy items, can get damaged very easily if they do not take enough care! Items are usually loaded/unloaded several times before they reach you. If you have to use a courier please call us 1st, we can bubblewrap the items for you, there will be a charge, BUT this is only a small amount of protection - it does not guarantee a safe arrival. Please try and find a company that collects and delivers with no vehicle changes. We cannot be held responsible for items damaged during transit by a 3rd party. We recommend Simon Luke Courier - a one man service - he will need help unloading and no assembly can be provided. Call us for details.
Items such as toy boxes, small mirrors etc. are fine to be delivered by courier -as we have our own fabulously designed packaging! We are unable to 'package' larger items such as wardrobes, desks etc.
